SUMMARY OF FINAL EVENTS
In 2013 we are quickly coming to the end of the Church age and preparing to enter a new age in Bible history. Here is a very simple timeline of the events that are taking place from the Cross to the end of time. Following is a short description of all the items you will find in the attached picture. Each item is a lengthy study in itself.
CROSS: This is a reference to Jesus life on earth, death on the cross and resurrection from the grave which took place about 2000 years ago. This was when He paid for all the sin of the world please take a look at I Corinthians 15:1-4
PRESENT DAY: This is where we are today still in the church age that began on the day of Pentecost with the arrival of the Holy Spirit see acts 1-2. The Holy Spirit will depart(2 Thes 2:5-8) and when he does that will bring on the tribulation and also end the church age. One of the signs that this is taking place is the wickedness of men will get worse and worse which we can see is clearly happening today.
RAPTURE OF SAVED: When a person gets saved the Holy Spirit comes and indwells that person for the tribulation to take place the Holy Spirit must be removed therefor if HE is in you then you must be removed as well. The rapture is the removal of all remaining true Christians. The few left will meet the Lord Jesus in the air to be with Him during the 7 years of tribulation taking place on the earth.
SAVED ALREADY DIED: those who have previously passed on that were saved will rise first to meet the Lord and the living will come quickly behind them. This is all going to take place in a moment the bible says "the twinkling of an eye."
MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR: Bible explained it best here's the verse its in I Thessalonians 4:16-17; "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST: in heaven when the church gathers with the Lord their will be a judgment for the Christian to answer what we accomplished for Him. 2 Corinthians 5:10
MARRIAGE SUPPER: The bible refers to the Church as the bride of Christ, after every wedding their is a reception and in heaven after the union of Christ and the Church their will be a great celebration supper. look up revelation 19:5-9.
SEVEN YEARS TRIBULATION: There was a judgment levied against Israel back in the old testament (see Daniel 9) but that judgment was put on hold during the church age which began at cross and ends at beginning of tribulation. Many things happen during this time in Revelation 5 we see Christ taking back possession of the earth and the wrath of God is poured out. in a short time just a few years over half of the population of the earth is going to die through war, famine, disease. Most that don't die will wish they did. The level of corruption and wickedness of the people means that this is ready to happen very soon. You can read some of this in Revelation 6-18.
SECOND COMING OF CHRIST: the tribulation is going to end with a great war called Armageddon. Christ is going to come out of heaven with all His followers and will fight those who war against Him and defeat them. He will land on the Mount of Olives and walk to Jerusalem where He will take back the temple. Will take seven months to clean up after the war.
CHRIST'S 1000 YEAR KINGDOM: Jesus will rule the world from Jerusalem for 1000 years commonly called the millennium kingdom. During His reign the earth will go back to being like He originally created it.
ALL WHO DIE WITH OUT CHRIST: everyone that dies without Jesus Christ is lost they will not enter the gates of heaven ever. Every person that dies a sinner will be rejected all of these people will immediately go into hell.
HELL: Since Jesus died to pay for sin hell was not created for man because every person can avoid hell if the come to Christ. Hell was created for the devil and his followers who have no relief for their sin. Look up Matthew 25:41. Hell was created as a place of punishment their is no suffering on earth that compares to the merciless punishment of hell and not believing it will not make it any less painful.
EVERYONE WHO DIED HERE: every person that lived on earth and died a sinner will be taken from hell to face final judgment at the great white throne of judgment. Where you will stand face to face with the one that died on the cross for you.
FINAL JUDGMENT FOR THE LOST: Also called the great white throne of judgment. this will be a great gathering of all people with Christ and millions of angels will be there. The purpose is for judgment of the lost they will each give an account of themselves and judgment will be passed and one by one they will be cast in to a burning lake of fire see Revelation 20:14-15. will be great weeping and crying as loved ones say goodbye for the last time.
LAKE OF FIRE: final place of judgment for all Gods enemies. notice this is a place of punishment and it does not end. the suffering will keep you from seeking out company of others and the memories will be sharp of what you did against Christ. And there is no new body how you die is how you spend eternity.
NEW HEAVEN NEW EARTH: Needless to say it will be a sad day for Saved who see many family and friends judged realizing how little we did to help them. Bible says God will have to wipe the tears from our eyes. The old heaven and old earth will be destroyed and new ones will be created for all His followers and this to will be forever.
Last thought for Heaven to be forever then hell has to be forever you do not have to go there put your faith in trust in the one that died on the cross for you. He did that because He loves you it would be a horribly foolish mistake to deny God's love.
